Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Danielle's Legacy, LLC ("Danielle's Legacy," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our website at www.dlegacybilling.com and our services, including Legacy Time and Legacy Verify (together, the "Services").
01Information we collect
We collect information needed to operate the Services and support the agencies and workers who use them:
- Account and contact information — names, business email addresses, phone numbers, job roles, and agency affiliation for the people who use or administer the Services.
- Workforce and visit information — clock-in and clock-out records, shift and coverage data, and service documentation entered through Legacy Time.
- Mobile phone numbers — provided by enrolled workers who opt in to receive operational text messages (see Section 3).
- Website and device information — basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, collected to keep the site secure and working.
02How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the Services, verify visits, support documentation and compliance workflows, communicate with users, secure our systems, and meet our legal and contractual obligations. We do not use information for third-party marketing.
03SMS / mobile information & text messaging
Legacy Time sends operational SMS text messages — such as verification and password-reset codes, documentation reminders, and account or status notices — to enrolled workers who opt in during onboarding, after signing in to Legacy Time. These messages are transactional and account-related. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages under this program. Sensitive details, including client names, are not included in text messages; they are viewed after signing in to Legacy Time.
No mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS opt-in and consent data) will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time.
We may share limited information with service providers who support our operations (for example, our SMS delivery provider, hosting, billing, and support vendors) solely so they can perform services for us. SMS opt-in data and consent are completely excluded from any other sharing and will never be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Message frequency may vary based on your activity and role. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of messages at any time, or reply HELP for help. For full messaging terms, see our Terms & Messaging page.
04How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Services and meet our obligations:
- Service providers. Vendors that host our systems, deliver messages, process billing, or provide support — bound by contract to use information only for the services they provide to us.
- With your agency. Information you enter through the Services is available to the provider agency that operates your account.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
05System access & agreements
To operate the Services on behalf of provider agencies, Danielle's Legacy accesses and works within certain state systems used for Louisiana Medicaid and HCBS administration. Where required, we maintain business associate agreements and other agreements that govern this access and how information is handled within those systems.
06Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
07Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal, regulatory, and audit obligations relevant to Louisiana Medicaid and HCBS programs, and resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.
08Your choices
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You may request access to or correction of your information by contacting us using the details below. Because much of the information in the Services is controlled by the provider agency that operates your account, some requests may be directed to that agency.
09Children's privacy
The Services are intended for use by provider agencies and their workforce, not by children, and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
